After hours of logo designing and website curating, I finally recorded my first makeup tutorial video. It took about three hours to tape the application of a fairly simple look but it was totally worth it. My wings were identical, my skin looked like snowy soft porcelain, and my lips pouted into perfection. The end result was stunning. Consider me on Cloud 9.
I insert the SD card to begin the editing process and realize that while my phone “recorded” all of the time, the second half of the videos are all corrupt. WHAT? WHY? I don’t know. My beloved Samsung Galaxy s5, which recorded flawless full HD videos, ate half of my tutorial. I’ll refrain from detail, but I said some words that would make a sailor blush.
First I was mad, then sad, and then I decided to use this as a learning opportunity. So, I played back what I could and picked up on a few things that I will likely do different in the future. I need to speak a little louder, be more conscientious of staying in frame, etc.
So I am here today without a video to post, which is a little disappointing, but I plan to try again very soon. Stay tuned!
